Palestinian virtuoso oud and violin player Simon Shaheen dazzles as he interweaves traditional Arabic sounds with jazz and Western classical music. He has played Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center and is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant and a prestigious National Heritage Award from the White House.
