Albany

The drive from Albany takes approximately 1 1/2 hours.

From NYS THRUWAY (I-90), Exit 25A west of ALBANY:

• Take INTERSTATE 88 WEST to EXIT 16 (“Emmons/Davenport Center”), just before

Oneonta. (It is approximately 11 miles from this point to The West Kortright Centre.)

• LEFT at end of exit ramp, crossing the railroad tracks and Susquehanna River almost immediately

• Continue on this road to the village of WEST DAVENPORT. (Tally-Ho Restaurant will be on your left as you enter the village.) Follow main road to the right and up to the light at the intersection on ROUTE 23.

• LEFT at LIGHT onto ROUTE 23 (East)

• 2.6 miles to DAVENPORT CENTER.

• RIGHT in Davenport Center, (farm stand on corner), following signs for The West Kortright Centre, East Meredith, and Hanford Mills Museum.

• Straight through EAST MEREDITH. (Don’t turn in the village.)

• On the outside edge of the village (after the cemetery), when the road forks, bear to the left, onto the low road. NOTE: Oncoming (downhill) traffic has the right-of-way, so be sure to yield before bearing left. You’ll now be on Kelso Road.

• After 4/10ths of a mile, BEAR RIGHT at the first intersection. You will now be on West Kortright Church Road. NOTE: This is a winding country road. Drive slowly— for the sake of our neighbors, their children and pets, farm animals, wildlife, and yourself. You’ll come to The Centre from behind.

• THE WEST KORTRIGHT CENTRE is the WHITE CHURCH BUILDING nestled in the valley.

Binghamton

The drive from Binghamton takes approximately 1-1/2 hours.

  • Get on NYS I-88 in Binghamton
  • Take Interstate 88 East to Exit 15, Oneonta (Colleges)
  • Right at end of exit ramp, crossing the Susquehanna River almost immediately
  • Left at light (McDonald’s & Wendy’s) onto Route 23 (East)
  • Beginning in Davenport Center, you will see signs for The West Kortright Centre, East Meredith and Hanford Mills Museum.
  • Right at corner (farmstand on corner) in Davenport Center
  • Continue straight through East Meredith. Follow the signs, which will send you up a hill and direct you to take a sharp left (your first) back down into a valley.
  • The West Kortright Centre is the white church building nestled in the valley.

Delhi

The drive from Delhi takes approximately twenty minutes.

From DELHI:

(Note: There are no stores after Delhi.)

  • THROUGH LIGHT at corner of Main and Kingston Street (*), heading EAST on NY STATE RTE. 10; continue APPROX. 2+ MILES on RTE. 10 (toward Stamford) to ELK CREEK ROAD (just after “Parking Area” next to river)
  • LEFT onto ELK CREEK ROAD
  • 7.4 MILES to fork (second right you can make)
  • RIGHT at FORK. Please drive slowly on this stretch of Turnpike Road. It’s a country road that intersects our neighbor’s working farm.
  • THE WEST KORTRIGHT CENTRE is the CHURCH building that sits in the valley.

* Right at light if coming from Kingston direction on Route 28; Straight through light if coming from Hamden direction on Rte. 10.

Franklin/Treadwell

The drive from Franklin takes approximately 35 minutes, from Treadwell about 25 minutes.

  • Take route 357 out of Franklin towards Oneonta.
  • Approximately 2.5 miles after Franklin, BEAR RIGHT toward Treadwell on Delaware County Route 14.
  • Stay on route 14 through Treadwell.
  • After Barlow’s Store in Treadwell travel approximately 2.7 miles (still on 14) and make a LEFT onto Catskill Turnpike (it is just after Mathews Pond B&B, there is no sign for the Turnpike Rd. so look sharp!). In about 4 miles you’ll come to State Route 28.
  • Cross Route 28 and continue on The Turnpike for approximately 4 more miles, you’ll come to a stop sign (Turnpike Rd merges with Elk Creek Road)
  • In about a mile you will see a sign that says The West Kortright Centre 1 Mile. BEAR RIGHT staying on Turnpike Road.
  • Please drive slowly — for your safety and the neighbors’ (including deer).
  • The West Kortright Centre is the church building that sits in the valley.

Kingston

The drive from Kingston takes approximately 1-1/4 hours.

  • Take State Route 28 West to Delhi (Note: there are no stores after Delhi.)
  • In Delhi, turn right at light at corner of Main and Kingston Street, heading east on NYS Route 10; continue approx. 2+ miles on Rte. 10 (toward Stamford) to Elk Creek Road (just after “Parking Area” next to river)
  • Left onto Elk Creek Road• 7.4 MILES to fork (second right you can make)
  • RIGHT at FORK. Please drive slowly on this stretch of Turnpike Road. It’s a country road that intersects our neighbor’s working farm.
  • The West Kortright Centre is the church building that sits in the valley.

New York City

The drive from New York City takes approximately 3-1/2 hours.

  • Take Palisades Parkway to Exit 9W — Thruway (87) North
  • 87N to Exit 16 (Harriman) to Route 17 West (toward Middletown)
  • Route 17 W to Exit 94 (Roscoe)
  • Left onto Route 206 West
  • Left at T in front of reservoir into Downsville
  • Right onto Knox Ave. shortly after traffic light in center of town. (There will be a sign for Hamden and Delhi.) This is County Route 26, a winding country road. Follow it over a steep hill, past a car cemetery, to the end.
  • Right onto State Route 10 toward Delhi.
  • Through Hamden into Delhi. (Note: There are no stores after this point.) straight through light (Main Street); continue approx. 2+ miles on Route 10 (toward Stamford) to Elk Creek Road (just after “Parking Area” next to river)
  • Left onto Elk Creek RoadLeft onto Elk Creek Road

Oneonta

The drive from Oneonta takes approximately 20 minutes.

From ONEONTA:

  • ROUTE 23 East (toward Stamford)
  • Beginning in DAVENPORT CENTER, you will see signs for The West Kortright Centre, East Meredith and Hanford Mills Museum. RIGHT in DAVENPORT CENTER (Davenport Garden Center on corner).
  • Straight through EAST MEREDITH. (Don’t turn in the village.) Follow the signs, which will direct you to the LEFT AT THE FORK (downhill) just after the cemetery. NOTE: Oncoming (downhill) traffic has the right-of-way, so be sure to yield before bearing left. You will now be on Kelso Road.
  • After .4 miles, BEAR RIGHT at the first intersection. You will now be on West Kortright Church Road. Another NOTE: This is a winding country road. Drive slowly—for the sake of our neighbors, their children and pets, farm animals, wildlife, and yourself.
  • THE WEST KORTRIGHT CENTRE is the WHITE CHURCH BUILDING nestled in the valley. You will approach it from behind.

Stamford

The drive from Stamford takes approximately 20 minutes.

  • Take Route 23 West toward Davenport and Oneonta
  • From the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 23 & 10 in Stamford, travel 5 miles on Route 23 to Route 33 in W. Harpersfield
  • Left onto County Route 33
  • Continue for 4 miles to stop sign (Rte. 33 will take a left at this point; you won’t.)
  • Straight through intersection to Turnpike Road (just beyond stop sign.)
  • Left onto Turnpike Road.
  • From this point, it is 3 miles to The West Kortright Centre.
  • Please drive slowly — for your safety and the neighbors’ (including deer).
  • The West Kortright Centre is the church building in the valley.

Syracuse

The drive from Syracuse takes approximately 2-1/2 hours.

  • Get on NYS I-81 in Syracuse
  • Take Interstate 81 south to Exit 8, Whitney Point
  • Left off of ramp; past school to intersection of Routes 79 & 206 (light).
  • Left at light, across bridge, onto Route 206 (Greene)
  • Take Route 206 (East) through Greene to Bainbridge.
  • Cross Route 7 in Bainbridge, following signs for I-88 East.
  • Take Interstate 88 East to Exit 15, Oneonta (Colleges)
  • Right at end of exit ramp, crossing the Susquehanna River almost immediately
  • Left at light (McDonald’s & Wendy’s) onto Route 23 (East)
  • Beginning in Davenport Center, you will see signs for The West Kortright Centre, East Meredith and Hanford Mills Museum.
