2016 Landscape & Garden Tour

The 25th annual tour to benefit The West Kortright Centre will be a journey along beautiful northern Catskills roads, a chance to see how others have enhanced their outdoor environments by simply accentuating the natural beauty of their sites. On view will be a myriad of design sensibilities incorporating flowers, shrubs, and trees, stonework, water elements, artwork, vegetable beds, and homes for livestock and wildlife.

Voxare String Quartet meets the Man with a Movie Camera

This landmark project marries Dziga Vertov's 1929 silent masterpiece, The Man with a Movie Camera, with the Voxare Quartet's ingenuity, musical prowess, and aesthetic sensibilities to create an unforgettable and unique experience.
“With rustic melodies made edgy through piquant harmonies, and in passages of turbulent mechanical chugging, the music neatly corresponded to Vertov’s jumpy barrage of images. Opening Acts: Young Artists Showcase is in its 26th year of encouraging the development of area youth through the arts. We invite young artists, ages 10-21, who attend schools or whose primary residences are in Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, or Schoharie county to audition for an opportunity to share their talents with Centre audiences.
