Getting Here
The West Kortright Centre is located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains — mid-way between the towns of Oneonta, Delhi, and Stamford — in northern Delaware County, NY.

Directions From Albany
The drive from Albany takes approximately 1-1/2 hours.
- Get on the NYS Thruway (I-90) in Albany to exit 25A.
- Take Interstate 88 West to Exit 16 ("Emmons/Davenport Center"), just before Oneonta. (It is approximately 11 miles from this point to The West Kortright Centre.)
- Left at end of exit ramp, crossing the railroad tracks and Susquehanna River almost immediately.
- Continue on this road to the village of West Davenport. (Tally-Ho Restaurant will be on your left as you enter the village.) Follow main road to the right and up to the stop light at the intersection on Route 23.
- Left at light onto Route 23 (east).
- 2.6 miles to Davenport Center.
- Right in Davenport Center, following signs for The West Kortright Centre, East Meredith and Hanford Mills Museum.
- Continue straight through East Meredith. Follow the signs, which will send you up a hill and direct you to take a sharp left (your first) back down into a valley.
- The West Kortright Centre is the white church building nestled in the valley.
Directions From Binghamton
The drive from Binghamton takes approximately 1-1/2 hours.
- Get on NYS I-88 in Binghamton
- Take Interstate 88 East to Exit 15, Oneonta (Colleges)
- Right at end of exit ramp, crossing the Susquehanna River almost immediately
- Left at light (McDonald's & Wendy's) onto Route 23 (East)
- Beginning in Davenport Center, you will see signs for The West Kortright Centre, East Meredith and Hanford Mills Museum.
- Right at corner (farmstand on corner) in Davenport Center
- Continue straight through East Meredith. Follow the signs, which will send you up a hill and direct you to take a sharp left (your first) back down into a valley.
- The West Kortright Centre is the white church building nestled in the valley.
Directions From Kingston
The drive from Kingston takes approximately 1-1/4 hours.
- Take State Route 28 West to Delhi (Note: there are no stores after Delhi.)
- In Delhi, turn right at light at corner of Main and Kingston Street, heading east on NYS Route 10; continue approx. 2+ miles on Rte. 10 (toward Stamford) to Elk Creek Road (just after "Parking Area" next to river)
- Left onto Elk Creek Road
- 4.8 miles to Irish Hill Road (first right turn you can make); tan house on corner
- Right onto Irish Hill to end (3 miles). Irish Hill is a dirt road with more than its share of potholes. Please drive slowly—for the sake of your car, your safety and the neighbors (including deer).
- The West Kortright Centre is the church building that sits in the valley.
Directions From New York City
The drive from New York City takes approximately 3-1/2 hours.
- Take Palisades Parkway to Exit 9W — Thruway (87) North
- 87N to Exit 16 (Harriman) to Route 17 West (toward Middletown)
- Route 17 W to Exit 94 (Roscoe)
- Left onto Route 206 West
- Left at T in front of reservoir into Downsville
- Right onto Knox Ave. shortly after traffic light in center of town. (There will be a sign for Hamden and Delhi.) This is County Route 26, a winding country road. Follow it over a steep hill, past a car cemetery, to the end.
- Right onto State Route 10 toward Delhi.
- Through Hamden into Delhi. (Note: There are no stores after this point.) straight through light (Main Street); continue approx. 2+ miles on Route 10 (toward Stamford) to Elk Creek Road (just after "Parking Area" next to river)
- Left onto Elk Creek Road

The drive from Syracuse takes approximately 2-1/2 hours.
- Get on NYS I-81 in Syracuse
- Take Interstate 81 south to Exit 8, Whitney Point
- Left off of ramp; past school to intersection of Routes 79 & 206 (light).
- Left at light, across bridge, onto Route 206 (Greene)
- Take Route 206 (East) through Greene to Bainbridge.
- Cross Route 7 in Bainbridge, following signs for I-88 East.
- Take Interstate 88 East to Exit 15, Oneonta (Colleges)
- Right at end of exit ramp, crossing the Susquehanna River almost immediately
