Arm-of-the-Sea Theater: The City That Drinks The Mountain Sky

The epic tale of NYC’s water supply, presented in the elemental beauty of mask & puppet theater. Youngsters and oldsters alike will enjoy plenty of visual punch and timely wit. Bring your own lawn seating. Rain (under a tent) or shine (open air). Pic- nickers welcome! Ty’s Taco-ria will be serving food, beginning at noon.
The Bright Siders
This interactive & educational family-friendly music show presents music that helps kids and families have meaningful conversations about emotions. Followed by an optional concurrent parenting skills workshop and songwriting session for kids.
Sam Reider and the Human Hands
Sam Reider and his multi-instrumental band perform arrangements of traditional pieces, engage kids in an interactive activity about using the blues to express emotions, and demonstrate how an improvising band models democracy through listening and collective improvisation. Developed over the last six years of working with Jazz at Lincoln Center, and adapted for all ages, this show is a lot of fun!
