Ticket and Workshop Registration Policies

Event Purchases

Ticket reservations require pre-payment by mail, in person, over the phone, or online. To help us cover rising costs, a non-refundable $2 per ticket handling fee will be applied to advance adult ticket purchases for all events except the Landscape and Garden Tour, Gala Dance Picnic Dinner, Shakespeare in the Valley, and West Kortright Fair.

Advance sales close 24 hours before each event. All tickets will be held at the will call table unless you specifically request they be mailed to you.

If a program is cancelled or postponed, we will attempt to contact you by phone or email and refund or exchange your tickets. Otherwise, ticket sales are final; there can be no exchanges or refunds, except for current WKC members, who may exchange tickets for another performance, subject to availability. You may consider donating the cost of your unused tickets back to The Centre’s Program Fund Drive.

Ticket prices are higher beginning 24 hours before the show. The box office will open one hour beforehand.

Children 24 months and younger may be admitted without a ticket, as long as the child sits on the lap of a ticket holder during crowded shows.

Because of the historic nature of our former church, there are no numbered (reserved) seats, only tickets for WKC programs. Seating for all shows is general admission. We will do our best to open the doors one half-hour before each event.

Group rates for parties of ten or more are available at the Member discount rate. Contact The Centre for info.

Workshop Purchases

Pre-registration is required for most workshops. (Some workshops fill up well in advance and we may be forced to cancel others that are under-enrolled.) A non-refundable $2 per registration handling fee will be applied to advance workshop registrations for both adults and children. Online registrations close 24 hours before the workshop begins. Payment is required before the first session begins.

A complete refund request will be honored only if you cancel five days before the workshop’s first session. (Please consider donating your fee to the Nancy Fales Garrett Children’s Scholarship Fund.) If The WKC must cancel a workshop due to special circumstances, we will attempt to contact you by phone or email and refund or exchange your pre-payment.
