Chris Martin +Tamara Gonzales: A Dialogue

May 28-June 27, 2021
Curated by Alan Herman

Our first gallery show of 2021 featured new works by Brooklyn/Bovina-based abstract painters Chris Martin and Tamara Gonzales.

Chris Martin’s wide range of material and imagery is drawn from the landscapes of the Catskills, Buddhism, and the legacy of Abstract Expressionism, incorporating unconventional materials, found objects, and personal paper ephemera.

Tamara Gonzales’s large, abstract paintings are influenced by contemporary Western art and mythology.

Tamara Gonzales is represented by Klaus Gallery, more info here.
