Four-week workshop: Mondays–Fridays, July 8–August 2, 1–5 PM
July 8–19 workshop sessions will be held at the Meredith Historical Society
July 22–August 2 sessions will be held at The West Kortright Centre

This extremely creative four-week ensemble acting workshop will culminate in two fully staged productions of Macbeth on August 2nd & 3rd, following the 6 PM Introduction to Acting performance and picnic dinner. For ages 13–19; Pre-registration required. (Students who wish to have a more musical role may want to consider taking the new Music for Shakespeare class concurrently.)
NOTE: Late-night dress rehearsals on July 31 & August 1.

YPTAW Alumna Lillian Meredith returns to teach another summer of Shakespeare!
Lillian is a New York-based theater artist focused primarily on creating and developing new and site-responsive plays. Recent credits include Soho Rep, Theatre for a New Audience, Ars Nova, Culture Project, Dixon Place, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, UglyRhino, The Secret Theatre, Galapagos Art Space, and The FURY Factory Festival of Ensemble Theater. Lillian is the co-founder and Artistic Director of The Motor Company (Communal Spaces and Intimate Bar Plays) and a founding member of The Living Room (#liberated at ANT Fest 2015 and IRT 3B 2016). She is also a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab, and the inaugural Clubbed Thumb Director’s Fellowship.
