Fiction Writing with Mermer Blakeslee
8 Wednesdays (5/18-7/6) from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Bring a piece to read that you are working on, up to 6 or 8 pages. We'll listen as a group and respond with honesty, engagement, and respect. We’ll discuss elements of fiction— voice, character, point of view, plot, imagery— as well as different processes that help bring a story forth. The singularity of each voice will be encouraged. Our purpose will be grand: to give voice to the clarity and energy of the imagination.
This ongoing workshop for both new and experienced adult writers welcomes new members to the group. Pre-registration required.
