Stone Wall Building Workshop
This is two-day off-site workshop in Jefferson, NY.
Learn the basics of building free-standing dry-laid stone walls under the instruction of a stone wall professional with over 20 years experience.
Students will learn how to sort & choose stones, use gravity to create a stable structure, and carve their initials in the new wall.
Saturday & Sunday, 10am-4pm
$200 per person/$180 (WKC members)
Ages 17+
Limit: 10 students
Bring your own lunch, gloves, heavy boots, and a stone hammer (if you have one).
Instructor Pat Ryan has been building stone walls since 1995. His stonework can be found at Brewery Ommegang, the Lakeview Event Center (in Laurens), and at numerous private residences and religious communities. Based in Oneonta, Pat travels the world looking at stone ruins.
