Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana

Travel beautiful country roads and get a rare insider look at how others have enhanced their outdoor environments with a full range of garden-planning schemes, each a reflection of that artist/gardener’s personal aesthetic. Science Around the House with The Dirtmeister
As the name suggests, this show takes a wild and wacky look at some of the science that takes place in and around the home. Using some “Dirt Cheap” materials such as coffee cans, soda bottles, mixing bowls, and even a toilet plunger, The Dirtmeister leads the audience on an exploration of the science behind gravity, air pressure, and sound. All experiments are 100% safe and participants are encouraged to try them at home!
This event is a fundraiser for The WKC. Admission is by donation. (Suggested donation $5–$10+ per person)
Opening Reception: “Flight” Multi-Media Benefit Exhibit
Our annual fundraising exhibition features a collection of artworks created by local artists based on the theme of "flight." The works are available for purchase by silent bidding, ending at the Blake Fleming Trio concert on October 28.
The opening reception is on Friday, August 31, 5-7pm. Refreshments sponsored in part by Brewery Ommegang.
(This is also the sneak preview for the rummage sale & silent auction!)

Our second annual Barn Tour features barns showcasing the variety of agricultural architecture in Delaware and Schoharie Counties (Jefferson, Gilboa, North Harpersfield). The self-guided tour includes a typical gambrel-roofed ramp barn with spectacular views of the Catskill High Peaks, one of the 13 octagon-shaped barns in New York State, an old mill that was converted into a poultry barn and then into a residence, and a barn assembled from a kit sold by Sears, Roebuck in the early 20th century. The tour will also take you by the imposing Decker-Starheim barn, with its enclosed ramp that crosses the road.
